How to update to Kodi 17.5

Please be aware that previous Kodi configuration will not be removed when you install Kodi 17.5 update. For Android Device, simply go to Google Play Store and install the latest update. For desktop machines such as Windows, Mac OSX, Raspberry Pi, see steps below on how to install Kodi 17.5 update.

  • Go to the official Kodi download page
  • Choose your operating system
  • Choose “Recommended” from the pop-up window
  • Click on the blue button next to “Release”
  • Now wait for Kodi 17.5 installation file to download
  • After the download is completed, open the file to begin the installation

  • Click on “+ New” from the bottom menu
  • Enter under Path and click OK
  • Enter “Kodi” for the name and select Download Now
  • Wait for the APK file to complete download, then click on Open File to begin Kodi install on your Firestick / Fire TV
  • Once the installation is completed > navigate back the home screen
  • Here you can then launch Kodi 17.5 app

How to install the video add-ons on Kodi 17.5

  • First, launch Kodi app on your Firestick and head to “Add-ons”

  • Now click on USTVNow or any other video plugin you wish to add and click Install
  • Now wait until you see the USTVNow Addon Enabled notification at the top
  • Then navigate back to Kodi home screen and select the “Add-ons” tab from the left-hand column
  • Click on Video Add-ons
  • Here your installed video add-ons will appear
